Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am new to using wood vessels, what kind of support can you offer?

We offer phone support, detailed wood use and care guides, and connections to local cooperage resources to help answer any questions you have. Our goal is to set you up for success.

  • How do I care for my new wood vessel?

Carefully review our Quick Care Guide before first use to prevent damage. Following proper care guidelines ensures your vessel's longevity and preserves our ability to provide support if issues arise.

  • Can I put pressure in my wood vessel?

No. Our wood vessels are not pressure-tested or designed. Even low pressure (<5psi) over time can cause leakage, cracks, and other damage. Use pressure at your own risk and only briefly/minimally if necessary.

  • How much does a cask or foudre cost?

Pricing is available on our website or by email request. Costs vary based on materials, size, etc. but we work with vendors to offer competitive pricing. Shipping costs will also apply. When cared for properly, our wood vessels last for decades.

  • Do you have a storefront?

No, we currently only offer direct shipping to help keep costs low. Products ship directly from the cooperage to you. Shipping quotes vary based on weight, delivery distance, and other fluctuating factors.

  • How can I make a damage claim?

Though we take care in shipping, occasional damage may occur. Carefully inspect deliveries on arrival and document any damage by photo/video. Also note damage on shipping documents signed by the delivery driver. To expedite resolution, submit a claim with proper documentation to us within 48 hours of delivery. We aim to address issues quickly and fairly.

    The key points are:

    • Inspect shipment for damage when it arrives

    • Take photos/video of any damage
